Why, hello! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Selena. Or if you follow me on Instagram, I’ve also gone by Lena or apples (because of my strange obsession over them).

I’ve always been a writer, since around six or seven years old, starting with that little booklet called ‘The Cat Who Couldn’t Meow But Burp.’ Yeah, it’s called that and can’t find it anywhere for the life of me. But from there, throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I’ve found that writing dark and gory stories are my true calling.

And as of 2019, I consider myself a New Adult Dark Fantasy writer. Which, coincidently, is when my series–The Verdian Chronicles–was born. It’s been at least ten drafts before I finally won the battle with my brain and stuck to the current draft of my first book: Cries of the Dead.

Does this mean I’m a stranger to other genres? Nope. I love fantasy as a whole with the many sub genres that come with it, like magical realism or urban fantasy (that’s a close second favorite). As well as paranormal and dark romances, and the occasional comedic dramas or webtoons from time to time.
