I offer free editing samples of up to 2000 words for copy/line edits, copy edits, and proofreads, or the first three chapters for developmental edits. I specialize in fantasy, but am completely open to other genres. Hope we can start working together!
Depending on which editing service you choose (copy edits, copy/line bundle, developmental edits, and proofreading), the sample would show you how I work. Mainly with track changes and suggestions and or critiques. In addition, a style sheet, editorial letter to explain my edits, and if it’s a copy or copy & line edit, a ‘final’ version of the document for you to compare and contrast.

Developmental Edits: 6 to 8 weeks | $700.00 USD Flat Rate (Before July 1st) | Rate on and after July 1st, 2026: $0.008 USD per word
Copy & Line Edits: 3 to 5 weeks | $300.00 USD Flat Rate (Before July 1st)| Rate on and after July 1st, 2026: $0.006 USD per word
Copy Edits: 2 to 4 weeks | Pricing will reflect July Pricing: $0.004 USD per word
Proofreading: 1 to 2 weeks | $200.00 USD Flat Rate (Before July 1st) | Rate on and after July 1st, 2026: $0.002 USD per word
All Editing Services require a 15% deposit upfront to secure a booking after reviewing a contract between both author and editor. Payments are made via PayPal, and Payment Plans are available.
