This is strictly copy edits.

I would implement four passes–the first pass being to merely read the text from start to finish, noting and highliting anything for review and edits in the second pass.

The second pass, or the main edit, would focus on spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, as well as consistency of the text (minor formatting, character names, places, numbers, timeline…)

The third pass would be a review of all edits, comments, and suggestions, as well as revising and updating the style sheet. I want to be as thorough as possible so that you receive the best quality I can muster.

The fourth pass would be the final review of all documents I’d send to you once the edit in itself is complete: a style sheet, the marked-up version of the manuscript, a ‘final’ version of the manuscript, and an editorial letter to explain my process as well as my edits.

And after all of this, and you review everything on your end, you can send it back to me for another quick round of edits as well as to answer any questions you have in either correspondence, or in the manuscript itself.

Pricing: $0.004 USD per word | Requires a 15% deposit

Timeline: 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the length of the manuscript
